Utilizing the recognizable sound wave, we created a grid-based system which linked the height of a particular wave to a letter, allowing the full name of the band to be spelled out. Having crafted this system, 'Noise Control' was created as an underground/guerrilla promotion company which focused on up and coming electronic artists. Fleshing this new company out, an abridged identity was created as well as a series of posters highlighting this code system.
Alongside the street campaign would be a similarly functioning website. Intentionally cryptic, the website would display the bare minimum amount of information with only a timer counting down towards the day and time of the next show. Only when the timer reaches the last remaining 24 hours will the rest of the puzzle be revealed as well as the option to purchase tickets.
